The Rwandan genocide has had an impact on people around the world from the minute it began, to this very day. Countless stories have been told and heard from survivors of this tragic event, but none has had more of an impact than the story of Immaculee Ilibagiza. She is a survivor of the genocide who put pen to paper and has provided us with her story of courage, forgiveness, and most of all her faith in God. Her unwavering faith is an example for all of us, and we wish to share her story with you and other items listed below.

In the spring of 1994, more than one million people were murdered in the Rwandan genocide. This is the story of how Immaculee survived certain death, along with seven other women, by hiding in a very small bathroom for more than 3 months.
