Two Most Comprehensive Books on Information on Catholicism

"Catholicism for Dummies" and "The Catholicism Answer Book"

Authored by Rev. John Trigilio and Rev. Kenneth Brighenti

Introduction

It is a great opportunity at this time to have two books that have been authored by the tandem of Rev. John Trigilio and Rev. Kenneth Brighenti. At the time of the publication of the "Catholicism for Dummies" book, Rev. John Trigilio Jr. is the priest, pastor, EWTN co-host of Council of Faith, and president of the Confraternity of Catholic Clergy, while Rev. Kenneth Brighenti is the priest, pastor, EWTN co-host, and managing editor of Sapienta magazine. Both authors have come up with two very comprehensive books on Catholicism that will always come in handy for any question or item of faith that needs to be clarified.

This first production of the two authors helps us get a scoop on the Catholic Church's stand on important social issues. It also presents a rich tapestry and history of the Catholic Church - from devotions to doctrines. "The Catholicism Answer Book"

This is a second production authored by the tandem of Trigilio and Brighenti. It is a more updated version of the "Catholicism for Dummies" book. The structure of the book is different from the first book. It is structured in the form of frequently asked questions on the Catholic faith. In fact, in the cover of the book, the subtitle, "The 300 Most Frequently Asked Questions", is presented. Questions like, "What are the 'lost' or 'missing' Books of the Bible?", "Why pray the rosary?", "What determines whether someone is named a saint?", "Why are priests celibate?", "Why can't Catholics divorce or remarry?", and "What is excommunication?", are some of the questions answered in this book.

Very easy reference

Both books are very easy references since they both have a complete index of terms. Both authors Trigilio and Brighenti has given the Catholic Church, through these two books, a great and valuable service. Our faith is strengthened when it gains greater understanding. The authors help a lot along this line so that Catholics may be strengthened more in their faith and reason while non-Catholics may gain a better grasp of what Catholicism is all about.
