Title: The Spirit's Love Leaders Corps
URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thespiritslove

Description:

Our Prayer, Mission and Vision: Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Spirit, You, who call men, women, and youth to respond to the mission of the Church, send we pray a continuous outpouring of Your Holy Spirit on all peoples in the Internet, so they may answer the call of the Pope, to go out into the deep of the Internet--"duc in altum"--by being the Holy Spirits missionaries in the Internet through The Spirits Love Leaders Corps. Form us O Lord to be the light, salt and leaven of the Internet forums and make us Your instruments of life and love for others: professing faith in You alone; imparting hope to all who are sick and suffering; and bestowing love and charity to all in the Internet world which we take up as our mission field. Form us also to be soldiers of Christ Your Son that we may courageously witness the power of Your Holy Spirit by our life of prayer and apostolic work. We ask that by Your power, You gather from the four corners of the world to answer this call to serve the Church through this forum and that through the intercession of Mary and the saints, all of us may be born anew of the Holy Spirit, formed anew in the Holy Spirit and sent always by the Spirit of Christ Jesus to all cultures to spread the spirit of the Pentecost community. We ask this in accordance to Your most holy will which You reveal to us through prayer, the Scriptures and the Church. Amen.

Title: Peter's Pence: Ecumenical Frontliners
URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/peterspence

Description:

This is a forum for all Christians and non-Christians who would like to support the work of the Roman Pontiff for Christian unity and interreligious dialogue through the social communications medium of the Internet. All Christians are welcome: Anglicans, Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants and other Christians. We welcome very much also our Jewish brothers and sisters from whom we share a great heritage. And in a spirit of universal peace, we invite also our brother and sister Moslems, Buddhists, Hindus and all other religions seeking the preservation of our earth from nuclear destruction. This forum seeks openness, mutual respect, dialogue, faith sharing, prayer, healing of divisions, and reconciliation with each other. Like Christ's disciples who encountered His Risen presence at Emmaus, may we too, through Word and Fellowship, journey with our "hearts on fire" to world peace through our common encounter with Jesus bearing in us our deepened faith in our mission - filled and renewed in energy, strength and hope. Join us in the frontline of the ecumenical mission. "May the Lord God bless all those who work for this aim." (John Paul II, 36th World Communications Day Message, May 12, 2002). [This is a forum where you can also promote your faith, your community or anything that has to do with your mainline religious beliefs. This is a list that exercises ecumenical and interreligious freedom of expression of beliefs.]

Title: World Youth Spirit
URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/worldyouthspirit

Description:

In Catholicism you will find answers to life's most troubling questions: Why am I here? Who made me? What must I believe? How must I act? All these can be answered to your satisfaction, if only you will open yourself to God's grace, turn to the Church He established, and follow His plan for you. (from Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Truth). World Youth Spirit is also a mission-training ground for the apostolic Internet missions of The Spirit's Love Leaders Corps, Peter's Pence, Do You Desire To Be Catholic?, and Coredemptrix Mediatrix Advocate. All youth of any culture is welcome; all who minister to youth and do pastoral work with the young are also welcome; especially welcome are those familiar with the World Youth Day programmes of the Holy Father John Paul II.

Title: Coredemptrix Mediatrix Advocate
URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ladyofallnations

Description:

"Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Father, send now Your Spirit over the earth. Let the Holy Spirit live in the hearts of all nations that they may be preserved from degeneration, disaster and war. May the Lady of All Nations, [who once was Mary], be our Advocate. Amen." This prayer, the image, and the messages of the Lady of All Nations is important for this time. It must be spread so that the 5th Marian Dogma of Mary as Coredemptrix, Mediatrix and Advocate may be proclaimed by the Holy Father. The proclamation of the dogma will usher in a 2nd Pentecost upon the world and true peace from the Spirit shall reign. All interested to learn more about the prayer, the image and the messages, are welcome to join this forum. Come and join our mission of peace and unity! We are also linked to: The Spirit's Love and Peter's Pence [Since this devotion encompasses all the nations of the world, this is a list where you can also promote the Marian apparition of your nation or country. It welcomes all forms of Marian devotion from different cultures all over the world.]

Title: Do You Desire To Be Catholic?
URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/catholicdesire

Description:

Those who wish to be informed about the Catholic faith before discerning and deciding to be one is welcome in this forum. These are the subjects to be shared, discussed and learn from: Scripture; Trinity; Church; Liturgy/Eucharist; Sacraments; Prayer; Jesus' life, teachings, death and rising; Jesus as God and Man; Visible Church/Orders; Mary; Paul's writings; Spirit; Christian Morality, Ten Commandments; Death; Judgment; Heaven. There is also a regular posting of news regarding the universal Church (the Vatican) and the local churches (the church at national and parochial levels). Modern and contemporary issues which the Church is facing today are to judged according to wisdom of the Church's tradition that have been handed down to us since the apostolic times, to the patristic age, the conciliar eras, and up to the present Vatican II era where a balance of tradition and openness to the call of the Spirit are to be justly, prudently done with the gift of discernment. Anyone curious about the Catholic Church or the issues it is facing now is welcome in the list. Issues are open to discussion as long as there is mutual respect for differences of opinion and freedom of expression is rightly used. You can use this list also to promote anything Catholic: your list, your blog, your webring, or your website.
