Catholic Internet Mission Program
It approximately takes more or less a year to learn and assimilate the theology and spirituality of Catholic Internet Mission. As regards the techniques and the methods - both spiritual and technological - it takes also more or less a year to study and learn the basics. Application of all the abovementioned elements involves a lifelong task and can be done at your own pace and customized according to your own concrete life-situation.

If you want to give true value, meaning and nobility to your use of the Internet, you can decide to discern if Catholic Internet Mission is part of God's calling for you in your Christian life.

Examine all the seven means stated above and see whether there is a possibility you can comply with what is required in them. If you can comply then you can become a Catholic webauthor according to the program of Catholic Internet Mission. Complying with the seven means will form the Catholic webauthor of Catholic Internet Mission to make Christ as his standard of excellence in the Christian life and it will also form him to be ready to receive the gift and the responsibility to promote Christ as the standard of excellence for others too.

Important point and reminder: Catholic Internet Mission and the calling to be a Catholic webauthor must never replace your active participation in the living, liturgical and sacramental life of the Church - especially in the Eucharist. In fact, this involvement must rank higher than Catholic Internet Mission. And for anyone seriously considering entering the Catholic Internet Mission program of becoming a Catholic webauthor, if he or she does not have any participation in a parish setting as one of the acolytes, readers, servers, or ministers, then I suggest that he or she have one form of liturgical ministry first before embarking on a formation program in Catholic Internet Mission. Catholic Internet Mission for Catholic webauthors is a specialized formation program that needs the standard and basic formation given by a parochial community setting.

Special Focus: One of the big tasks of Catholic Internet Mission in these times is to bring back all those in the information-rich societies to return to the living, liturgical and sacramental life of the Catholic Church and for them to have a heart for the information-poor societies. This situation calls Catholic Internet Mission to be a training ground for Catholic webauthors to follow Christ as the Good Shepherd and in imitation of Him, also shepherd others in the Internet back to their Eucharistic communities in the parishes.

Prayer and Hope
It is my prayer and hope that Catholic Internet Mission will produce Catholic webauthors who are experts in the celebration, adoration, and contemplation of the Eucharist (Message, 78th World Mission Sunday) for if they are indeed experts in this sense, then they have really made Christ as the standard of excellence in their life.
